MUSIC MEMORY LIVE! EVENTS

Event Information

 

In addition to hundreds of UIL and PSIA contests held across the state of Texas each year, here is information about some very special MUSIC MEMORY LIVE! events held in other parts of the country each spring.

 

Kansas State University School of Music, Theater and Dance hosted the K-STATE MUSIC MEMORY LIVE! event.

 

The Dallas Symphony performed at Meyerson Symphony Center for the Dallas ISD All-City MUSIC MEMORY LIVE! event. Students from the Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts joined the professional musicians on stage. For more information, please click HERE.

 

Austin ISD (where the modern MUSIC MEMORY Program began in 1981) hosted the Austin ISD All-City MUSIC MEMORY LIVE! event in their brand new, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center. The AISD All-City Orchestra and Music Teacher Choir performed. http://www.austinisdfinearts.org/resourceslinks

​The San Diego Winds hosted the Countywide Hunter Family MUSIC MEMORY BEE​ in Don Powell Theatre on the campus of the San Diego State University School of Music and Dance.  The SDSU Orchestra, under the direction of professor Michael Gerdes, performed the test questions.  Learn more about their MUSIC MEMORY program at http://www.sdwinds.org/musicmemory
